Starting at the Naples Gate, you will take a stroll through the city's charming streets, visiting landmarks such as the Obelisk, Palmieri Street, Duomo Square, Vittorio Emanuele Street, the Roman Theater, the Roman Amphitheatre, St. Oronzo Square, St. Irene Church, and the Celestini Building. Each of these has a unique story, and your guide will share them all with you.
As you explore the city, you will notice that the buildings are made of local limestone, and the churches are decorated with Baroque-style carvings. I will also share interesting anecdotes about the city's ornately carved balconies, which are known for their "goose breast shape" wrought-iron designs and are often decorated with geraniums.
For food lovers, you will visit two of the best bakeries in town to try the famous Rustico and Pasticciotto. Our tour will end with a visit to the stunning Holy Cross Basilica, where you will admire its magnificent facade. I can't wait to show you this beautiful city.
