See The Leaning Tower Of Pisa At The Miracle Square
- We will start our journey at the original city walls of Pisa, considered to be the oldest in Europe, and make our way to the Baptistery of San Giovanni. This is the world's largest baptistery and showcases a stunning blend of Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles, built-in 1153. Opposite the baptistery is the 100-meter-long Cathedral of Pisa, a perfect example of Romanesque-Pisan style with a strong Arab influence.
- Next, we will visit the Campo Santo, or monumental cemetery, a true pantheon of Roman sarcophagi and medieval frescoes. You'll learn about its name, inspired by the "holy land," and visit the hospital of Santa Chiara, founded in 1256 and still in operation today.
- Finally, we will visit the famous Bell Tower of the Assumption, also known as the Leaning Tower of Pisa. This iconic tower attracts millions of visitors each year and is one of the most recognizable symbols of Italy.
- Throughout our tour, we'll explore the interesting past and legends of each attraction, including the Nails of the Devil, the Column of Women, the Lizards of Fortune, and the sacred inscription of Saint Michael. Get ready to have your curiosity piqued and join us soon.
