2-Hour Private Walking Tour of Messina with Cathedral and Clock

Marvel at the unique bell tower, added after the earthquake, decorated with golden statues and housing the largest astronomical clock in Europe. The Cathedral's interiors are simple yet stunning, with a beautiful golden altar. Outside, you will find a Renaissance fountain with four statues symbolizing four rivers. It is also possible to climb the 200 steps inside the bell tower to reach the top level and enjoy views over the city from the terrace above. • Next, stroll through the pedestrian area, lined with cafes and beautiful old buildings, to reach the bronze statue of the city's hero in the battle against the Turkish Army.

Note: If the tour starts around 10 AM, tourists can attend the amazing carousel in the bell tower. It starts at noon and goes on for over 10 minutes. Tourists will hear sounds and music and will see the golden statues moving.
