Day 01
Bartolomé Island Hike and Sullivan Bay Snorkelling
- Meet your tour guide, who will pick you up from the hotel lobby and head to the Itabaca Channel, about 40 minutes away. The tour starts between 05:30 - 06:00 or 06:30 - 07:00, depending on the date forecast.
- Travel to Bartolomé Islet on a journey that can last 2-3 hours, depending on the currents. After disembarking, walk around a volcanic cone until you reach the summit to appreciate the beautiful landscape beside the pinnacle. This part of the tour is focused mainly on hiking and scenery, allowing you to enjoy the panoramic views and unique formations.
- Have lunch on board the yacht and then continue to the next visit point, located southeast of Santiago Island. Disembark at Sullivan Bay, a site of great geological interest. Enjoy about 45 minutes of snorkelling here, with the possibility of spotting sea and land birds, colonies of double-haired wolves, and marine iguanas that have adapted to the terrain.
- Return to the Itabaca Channel and continue back to Puerto Ayora.
