Day 01
Tangier Markets, Hercules Cave and Medina Tour
- Immediately after you get off the ship, you will find your tour guide at the reception holding a plaque with your name written on it. From there, we will start our journey in a luxury van with a private driver and private tour guide, taking a 10-minute drive to reach the local market for vegetables, fruit, spices, and cheese.
- After strolling through the local market for about 45 minutes, we will return to the van and continue our journey to explore the Cave of Hercules and its Greek myth. Passing through the upscale neighbourhood of Tangier, we will also explore Seven Palaces Street and Perdicaris Park, along with its strange history.
- We will also stop to see the confluence of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.
- After that, we will stop at the Atlantic Ocean beach, where we will enjoy a camel ride.
- Then, we will return directly to the Kasbah. Lunch will be in a traditional Moroccan restaurant with a billion-dollar view, and you will have every choice in the restaurant.
- Next, visit the old part of the city, the Medina, where we will walk through old times side by side with the local people to explore the culture and architecture of the houses from the outside and inside. Walk through the alleys and roads of the old city, including the furniture market, textiles, jewellery, antiques, clothing, and more.
- In the end, we will return to the van and drive back to the ship in less than 5 minutes.
