The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Amman

Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, meet our driver and head to your hotel in Amman.

Overnight in Amman.

Day 02

Petra Excursion from Amman

After breakfast, drive to visit the Nabataean Red Rose city of Petra, one of the 7 world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, carved in stone more than 2,000 years ago.
Enter the city through the 1 km-long narrow gorge called the Siq, flanked on either side by 80 m-high cliffs. Notice the dazzling colours and formations of the rocks, which lead directly to the Khazneh.

Return to Amman for an overnight stay.

Day 03

Jerash, Mount Nebo, Madaba and the Dead Sea

After breakfast, drive to the fascinating Greco-Roman city of Jerash to visit its original temples, theatres, plazas, paths, colonnaded streets, amphitheatres, churches, and the vast Roman Forum.
Continue south of Amman to visit Mt. Nebo, a city mentioned in the Bible where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land that he would never enter.
Next, visit Madaba, a city known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, especially the famous 6th-century Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land.
Visit St. George's Church, now a Greek Orthodox basilica and home to the enormous Madaba Mosaic Map. Then drive to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Enjoy swimming in the buoyant waters and getting covered in mud.
Return to Amman for an overnight stay.

Departure Transfer

Have breakfast and transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for departure.

What to bring

Personal items are not provided, such as sunblock, towels, toothbrush, hat, slippers, and swimming clothes (for the Dead Sea).
For walking in Petra, bring sport shoes (tennis shoes or boots), a hat, and sunglasses.

These are the significant points and facts that travelers need to be aware of, so kindly take the time to read this before you leave your country for Jordan. It is essential to be mindful of the following:
- In Petra, an English-speaking local private guide is available for 2-3 hours and covers the lower parts of Petra. Afterwards, you can explore more sites such as the Royal Tombs or the Monastery by yourself. A horse ride from the Visitor's Center to the Siq (800 m) is included in the entrance ticket to Petra, so if you wish, you can take it. Usually, you are requested to pay a tip for the man leading the horse.
- A visa to Jordan is available for most nationalities upon arrival, and it costs 40 JD = $57.00 per person.
