Amazon Jungle Excursion from Manaus
- Our tour starts at around 8 am, when we meet at your hotel and drive west from Manaus for about one and a half hours until we reach Ubin Lake, where our host will be waiting to take us by speedboat into the jungle.
- Once in the jungle, we begin a trek of around 2 hours, during which we'll learn more about Amazonian fauna and flora, medicinal plants, jungle survival, and much more.
- After the walk, we'll head to a platform where a protection and research project for pink river dolphins is carried out. Here, we'll have the unique opportunity to learn about these friendly, beautiful creatures and enter the water to interact with them.
- Next, it's time to visit our host's home and enjoy a delicious lunch with his family, along with a good conversation to learn about the culture of the riverine people and Amazonian history.
- We'll then take a boat ride through the flooded forest to go piranha fishing and catch these famous ferocious water beasts.
- When night falls, we'll go in search of cayman (alligators) and enjoy the beauty of the nocturnal wildlife.
- Finally, we'll return to the road and head back, arriving at your hotel at around 8 pm.
