5-Day Jordan Highlights Tour from Amman with Petra and the Dead Sea

• Meet your guide at your hotel in Amman and take a taxi to the Citadel of Amman for a visit of about an hour and a half.
• Then continue on foot through the old alleys toward downtown, with short stops at the Roman public water fountain next to the local fish and vegetable market.
• Finally, end the Jordanian day with a visit to the Jordan Museum, which is closed on Tuesdays.

A traditional lunch can be arranged upon agreement.

• Leave Amman at 08:00 AM and head north to visit Ajloun, a unique Islamic military fortress. Then witness the role of nature lovers looking after wild animals such as lions, bears, and hyenas.
• Have a traditional Jerashian lunch, followed by a two-hour visit to Jerash, the "Pompeii of the East."
• Finally, return to Amman.

• Leave Amman at 08:00 AM and travel south to begin with a visit to the memorial burial of Moses at Nebo, followed by the oldest mosaic map in Madaba at St. George Church. Do not miss the speciality of Madaba.
• After these visits, continue farther south to reach Dana Guest House for the night.
• Enjoy a traditional dinner, breakfast, and an overnight stay surrounded by nature.

• Leave Dana at 08:00 AM for Petra and begin your visit at 09:30 AM. The guided tour follows the classical route from the visitor center to the Basin area, after which you will have more time to explore other places on your own.

• Leave Petra at 08:30 and travel to the lowest point on Earth to visit the Baptism Site, following the footsteps of Jesus Christ at Peraea, the other Holy Land, for two full hours, with a stop at the Jordan River.
• The day ends at your hotel on the Dead Sea beach for relaxation and a beauty mud treatment.
