Day 01

Bike Tour Through Salvador's Lower City

  • From your hotel, we will drive to the Ribeira neighbourhood, where we will hop on our bikes and begin our cycling tour towards the Peninsula.
  • We will stop at the traditional Ribeira ice cream shop, one of the most sought-after spots for customers from all over the city.
  • Then, we will visit the famous Church of Bonfim. For the people of Bahia, the Church of Bonfim is not only the most important centre of devotion to the Catholic faith in the city, but also a symbol of religious syncretism.
  • We will then bike past the Pedra Furada Community, hidden in a corner of the Itapagipe Peninsula. This humble community has exciting features and a great beach with calm waters.
  • Our next stop is Mont Serrat Fort, which offers a spectacular view of the bay.
  • Then, we will head back to Ribeira, ending our bike tour and returning to the hotel by car.
