Cachoeira, Santo Amaro and São Félix Day Tour
- Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location to begin the program, then drive to Cachoeira.
- On the way to Cachoeira, stop in Santo Amaro to visit an interesting and bustling rural market, with its amazing fruits and vegetables and peculiar products.
- Pass by the Cathedral of Our Lady of Purification and its beautiful square in Santo Amaro.
- In Cachoeira, take a walk to admire the typical colonial architecture and churches.
- Stroll along the idyllic Paraguaçu River, one of the most important rivers in Bahia.
- A good tip is to visit the Rosary Church and discover its wonderful Portuguese tile panels.
- Lunch can be enjoyed at a colonial farm, where you will have a beautiful view of the river and surroundings (subject to availability), or at a local restaurant in town.
- After lunch, visit a famous handmade cigar factory in the city of São Félix, across the river.
