Day 01

Beara Peninsula Scenic Drive via Healy Pass

  • Depart Killarney with your tour guide via the N71, enjoying lovely views over the lakes of Killarney along one of the most scenic roads in Ireland.
  • From Kenmare, venture towards the Healy Pass through an incredible wild landscape where the sheep reign.
  • Travel on to the fishing port of Castletownbere and stop at Puxley Castle to see the ruins of the O'Sullivan Beare stronghold.
  • Continue westwards, passing lots of colourful villages and incredible scenery as the roads become very narrow.
  • Stop at Uragh Stone Circle and Gleninchiquin waterfall (optional).
  • Return to Killarney via Kenmare and Killarney National Park.
