Day 01

ATV Adventure to Moray and Maras Salt Mines

• At the specified time, your tour representative will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco, according to your service, and begin an დაახლოებით 1-hour journey to our base in Maras.
• Once at our base, the staff will be waiting for us with the ATVs and complete equipment such as gloves, helmets, and more. Here, our specialized guide will give us all the necessary information about the proper use of the ATVs, to which we must pay close attention.
• In Moray, we will have enough time to visit the circular terraces built in huge natural depressions.
• We then continue the tour towards the town of Maras.
• We will make a brief stop in the main square. Then, we head towards the famous salt mines, better known as the Salt Mines, which comprise more than 4,000 small pools on the mountainside. People fill the pools with salt water that springs from the mountain during the dry season. The irrigation must be done every three days so that, when the water evaporates, the salt contained in it solidifies slowly, allowing salt production every 30 days.
• At the end of the tour, we return to the starting point in Maras on the ATVs.
• Here, our transportation will be waiting for us to return to Cusco.
