The journey
Explore the lush landscapes of Serra da Bocaina National Park on a guided jeep adventure from Paraty. Travel into the Mata Atlântica rainforest, discover scenic trails, and visit beautiful waterfalls and springs while enjoying the region’s rich natural beauty.
Along the way, stop at Pedra Branca, Toboga, and Tarzan waterfalls, take in panoramic views of the mountains and historic Paraty, and learn about local flora during a forest walk. The experience also includes a visit to Alambique D'Ouro, where you’ll see how traditional cachaça is produced and enjoy a tasting in a striking natural setting.
We will also be able to visit other waterfalls of pure and crystalline water, such as the Toboga and Tarzan waterfalls.

Day by day
We will start the tour at the meeting point and head towards the coastal area, the Serra da Bocaina National Park, where we will enter the Mata Atlântica, a neo-tropical rainforest considered a regional heritage site
First, our jeep will stop at the Pedra Branca waterfalls, where we can take pictures and get in touch with the local flora. Afterwards, we will continue our journey towards Vila da Penha, for a walk through the forest that will allow us to observe different types of typical plants such as bamboo, bromeliads and chestnuts, among others.
We will also be able to visit other waterfalls of pure and crystalline water, such as the Toboga and Tarzan waterfalls. As we go through the dense forest, we will be able to appreciate panoramic views of the Sierra and the historical city of Paraty.
After spending a morning exploring the forest, we will go to the next point of our tour, to visit the Alambique D'Ouro and observe how the cachaça is made traditionally. You will be told about all the procedures used to make it, and then we will have a tasting while we enjoy the impressive landscape.
We will end the tour at the same meeting point.
