Day 01

Otranto Old Town and Waterfront Walk

• Walk along the Sea Gate and Bulwarks, with stops to take some pictures.
• Stop at the Aragonese Castle, a medieval castle next to Ischia.
• Visit the Cathedral and Crypt.
• Explore St. Peter Basilica, a church built in the Renaissance style.
• Pass by Alfonsina Tower and Land Gate.
• Take a lunch break at the Otranto waterfront, lined with stunning medieval architecture and scenic harbours.

Day 02

Lecce Baroque Landmarks and Tasting

• Pass by Naples Gate, an ancient city gate.
• Discover Duomo Square, the Cathedral, and the Bishop Palace from the outside, unless you pay the Cathedral entrance fee.
• Stop at St. Claire Church, dedicated to Saint Clare of Assisi and containing her remains, and see the Roman Theatre from the outside, unless you pay the church entrance fee.
• Make a photo stop at St. Oronzo Square, which was built in the 2nd century.
• Admire the Roman Amphitheatre, a circular or oval open-air venue with raised seating, built by the ancient Romans.
• Explore the Holy Cross Basilica and Celestini Building from the outside for a photo stop, unless you pay the Basilica entrance fee.
• Enjoy food and wine tasting at the end of the tour.
