Day 01

Urca, Copacabana Fort and Arpoador Sunset

• Visit Urca and Copacabana Fort, a military base at the south end of the beach that defines the district of Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro. The base is open to the public and contains the Museu Histórico do Exército, as well as the coastal defence fort known as Fort Copacabana.

• Go up to Canoas Road and Dona Marta, and tour Arpoador, a region located in the southern zone of Rio de Janeiro on a small peninsula between Ipanema and Copacabana.

• Watch the most beautiful sunset in Brazil at Arpoador Beach.

• Visit Barra da Tijuca, Recreio, and Prainha beaches (optional).
