Itinerary

Cortona Walking Tour
- Walk along the main street, Ruga Piana.
- Visit the church of San Francesco, where the relics of St. Francesco of Assisi are kept in the convent of the friars.
- Continue the journey towards Duomo, dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta, where numerous and important works of art are kept, some of which come from Cortona's churches.
- In Piazza Della Signoria, admire the famous Palazzo Comunale, with its beautiful imposing bell tower, a testimony of the importance that Cortona had during the Middle Ages.

Children can participate only with the presence of at least one adult, responsible for their safety.

We can provide a transfer to the place where the truffle hunting will take place at an additional cost.

Participants have to be in good physical shape.

This experience will only take place under favourable climatic conditions. In case of cancellation due to bad weather, you can choose to postpone the experience to another date or receive a full refund.

The recommended times are from 9 am to 11 am, especially during the summer, and from 5 pm to 7 pm. For safety reasons, the hottest hours of the day are strongly not recommended

Periods and products:

White truffle Tuber magnatum: from September 10 until December 31

Marzuolo Tuber borchii e Tuber albidum: from January 10 until April 30

Scorzone Tuber aestivum: from June 1 until November 30

In May, both truffle hunting and its collection are closed

What To Bring

Recommended clothing: boots closed up to the ankle, long trousers, long-sleeved shirt and/or sweater. In the wood temperatures can be lower, even in summer
