Experience a lively evening of Irish traditional music, song and dance in Galway, inspired by the spirit of a classic Seisiún — an informal gathering of musicians, dancers, poets and storytellers. This guided performance blends music, dance and storytelling to share a moving account of how the Great Famine shaped the West of Ireland.

In the second half of the show, the audience becomes part of the experience. You’ll be invited to learn simple Irish folk dances, and in the true spirit of a traditional session, guests who can sing a song or play a tune are welcome to join in.
