Day 01

Rio de Janeiro Icons from Corcovado to Sugarloaf

Get picked up from your hotel and meet your expert local tour guide.
Visit Corcovado Mountain and Christ the Redeemer via the Paineiras route.
Enjoy the 20-minute drive to the base of the statue, passing through Tijuca Forest and getting a preview of the landscapes ahead. The statue stands 710 meters tall, and from this point, you can take in sweeping views of the city.

Head to Sugarloaf Mountain. The cable car ride to the top is done in two stages: first from the boarding station to Urca Mountain, and then from Urca Mountain to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain.
Enjoy a buffet lunch to recharge your energy.
Continue to the Metropolitan Cathedral and Arcos da Lapa with the traditional Selarón Steps.
Stop by the Sambadrome and Maracana Stadium to take photos from the outside.
