Pedra do Telegrafo (354 m / 1162 ft) is one of the best ecotourism hikes in Brazil. Located in a huge state park with wonderful unspoiled beaches, lush forests, and the Marambaia estuary, it is a great choice for those looking for an excellent balance between effort, trail time, and attraction. The trail lasts around 1 hour and is considered light. On the way back from Pedra do Telegrafo, there is a stop for a sea bath at Grumari Beach, followed by a scenic drive along Rio's shoreline with nice spots for photos. The attraction is located in Barra de Guaratiba (West Zone), approximately 1 hour's drive from Rio's South Zone.

Returning from Pedra do Telegrafo (Telegraph's Rock) to the city, we will stop for a sea bath at Grumari Beach.

Located in a huge state park, its wonderful unspoiled beaches, lush forests, and the Marambaia estuary make it perfect for a day hike. The trail lasts around one hour and is considered light.
