Otavalo Market and Imbabura Highlands Tour
Guayllabamba
Wake up early in the morning and meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location in Quito. Drive 2 1/2 hours to the northern side of the Ecuadorian Andes, where you will tour one of the areas most visited by foreigners and local tourists. This region is known as Imbabura, also called "The Lakes Province".
Begin your journey by crossing the Guayllabamba Valley (Green Valley), where you can enjoy delicious fruits typical of the area, such as cherimoya and lima.

Continue your trip through an area with several viewpoints, perfect for people who enjoy photography.
Otavalo
Stop to visit the Otavalo Indian Market, which is very famous for its quality handicrafts and for exporting them worldwide.
Cascada de Peguche
Proceed to the wonderful waterfall called Peguche. It is a sacred place where locals renew their energies, and you will also do so.
Cotacachi
Head towards the Cotacachi area, which is known for its famous high-quality cow and sheep leather articles. You can also stop for lunch, where several typical dishes are available, and you may have the chance to try guinea pig if you wish.
