Discover the UNESCO-listed Tijuca National Rainforest and the famous Christ the Redeemer Statue on a moderate hike through Atlantic Rainforest. Starting at Parque Lage, at the base of Corcovado Mountain, you'll pass a beautiful old mansion, century-old palm trees, and lovely waterfalls with plenty of fresh water along the ascent. At the top of Corcovado Mountain (710 m / 2330 ft), enjoy one of Rio's most privileged belvederes beside Brazil's most famous landmark.

The Christ the Redeemer statue, at the top of Corcovado Mountain (710 m / 2330 ft), is located in the first sector of Tijuca National Park. From up there, the view is very rewarding, as it is considered one of Rio's most privileged belvederes.
