Day 01

Petrópolis Highlights and Nearby Towns Excursion

Meet your Petrópolis tour guide at the agreed-upon location in Rio de Janeiro and set out in a comfortable Toyota Sedan Etios. Along the way, enjoy stops for photography on the slopes and hills of Petrópolis.
Stop at a bakery, sandwich shop, or coffee shop with German ancestry near the entrance to Petrópolis city.
Visit the surroundings of Quitandinha Palace and enjoy some shopping on Teresa Street.
Head downtown to see the Imperial Museum gardens, Crystal Palace, and the old colonial houses of Koehler Street.
Pay your respects at the Cathedral of Petrópolis and walk around the surroundings of the Beer Museum.
Pass by the Santos Dumont House.
Stop for a small snack and, if desired, a complete meal.
Depending on time and interest, visit the nearby towns of Nogueira and Correas, farm- and ranch-style towns where a fabulous waterfall bath can be enjoyed, as well as Itaipava, where a lovely castle can be visited and a complete meal can be enjoyed.
