3-Day Lençóis Waterfalls and Rock Formations Tour with Fumaça

• Start your tour by visiting Lençóis, a former diamond-mining town.

• Then, visit the Salão de Areias Coloridas (Room of Coloured Sands), where rock formations deposit multi-coloured sands on the floor of the "rooms", and continue to the Primavera Waterfall on the Rio Lençóis.

• If the weather permits, follow the trail to the Ribeirão do Meio natural waterslide, a unique natural phenomenon created as the river flows down the mountain slope.

• In the afternoon, explore the local craft shops and see the precious stones and jewellery of the region.

Overnight at the Pousada Trilha.

• Drive across the northern part of Chapada Diamantina National Park towards the fazenda where you will find Mosquito Waterfall. Here, enjoy the fantastic views or swim in the river amidst the surrounding flora.

• Afterwards, have a delicious lunch.

• Then, walk to Rio Mucugezinho and its famous Poço do Diabo (the Well of the Devil).

• Upon arrival, swim for about 50 metres to reach the bottom of the waterfall.

• From here, head to the iconic picture-postcard image of Chapada, the mountain of Pai Inácio.

• Return to Lençóis in the afternoon.

• Have breakfast and head to Capão Valley and Fumaça Waterfall for a hike to witness the rich flora of the valley.

• Reach the magnificent canyon of Fumaça, one of the most majestic landscapes in the world.

• Here, enjoy a picnic lunch.

• Afterwards, head to Riachinho Waterfall and enjoy a nice, cool dip in its waters.

• Return to Lençóis late in the afternoon.
