The itinerary

Day 01

Pandas, Temples, Teahouse Culture, and Sichuan Opera

07:00 - 07:30 - Meet your Chengdu tour guide and drive from your hotel to the Chengdu Research Centre of Panda Breeding.
07:30 - 10:00 - Visit the Giant Pandas Centre.
10:00 - 12:30 - Head to Wenshu Temple and Market, and add another skill to your repertoire by taking part in a calligraphy class.
12:30 - 13:00 - Take a lunch break. (Lunch is optional.)
13:00 - 14:00 - Feel the joy of being still and relaxed at Qingyang Monastery.
14:00 - 17:00 - Stroll through the Wide and Narrow Alleyways and People's Park.
17:00 - 18:00 - Sip rejuvenating tea at the teahouse and test your skills in a game of Mahjong after a quick lesson.
18:00 - 21:00 - Satisfy your hunger pangs with an optional hotpot dinner, and later experience a sensational Sichuan Opera performance.
21:00 - 21:30 - Drive back to your hotel or preferred location in the city.

Day 02

Leshan Grand Buddha and Old Town Exploration

08:00 - 10:30 - Drive to Leshan Grand Buddha.
10:30 - 12:30 - Be overwhelmed by the grandiose 71 m tall statue of the Buddha carved out of red sandstone.
12:30 - 13:00 - Take a lunch break. (Lunch is optional.)
13:00 - 15:00 - Head to the Old Town for some interesting exploration.
15:00 - 18:00 - Return to Chengdu with an optional visit to a tea plantation. (30 mins)
