Day 01

Porto and Braga Religious Heritage Tour

Meet your Portuguese tour guide at a pre-decided location in Porto at 9:00 AM and set out on your tour.
Reach Porto Cathedral and observe the magnificent exterior and interior of the church.
Leave Porto city centre at 10:00 AM and make your way to the Church of São Martinho de Cedofeita.
Visit the Monastery of Leça do Balio at 11:15 AM. The site dates back to the 10th century, when a mixed convent for both nuns and monks was founded by the Order of St. Benedict.
Reach the city of Braga for lunch at 12:15 PM.
Walk to see Braga Cathedral. Although it was built in the 12th century, the Diocese of Braga dates back to the 3rd century CE. Today, the monument is the seat of the Archdiocese of Braga and the Primate Archbishop of Portugal and Spain. Explore the nearby Museum of Braga.
At 4:00 PM, drive to the Church of Saint Martin of Dume.
Head back to Porto at 5:00 PM.
