Day 01

Marimbus Swamp, Roncador Pool and Diamond Mining History

Meet your tour guide at a pre-decided location in Lençóis by 9:00 AM and begin your two-hour journey to Remanso.
Begin your excursion in the Marimbus Swamp as you sail downstream through slow green waterways full of interesting plants and animals.
After the 1.5 to 3-hour boat ride, arrive at Roncador pool, where you can go for a swim and enjoy the many beautiful waterfalls that flow into the natural rock pools. Optional: enjoy an authentic lunch at a local household.
Take an old diamond miners' dirt road, where you can see the remnants of the region's diamond-mining economy.
Arrive in Lençóis in the late afternoon.
