Day 01

Ravello, Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii

• Meet your guide upon arrival and begin your guided tour.
• Travel to Ravello and walk through a rural medieval village perched on top of the cliff, 1,000 feet above the sea, above Amalfi and Minori.
• Visit Ravello's most famous and ancient villa, Villa Rufolo, where artists, singers, and celebrities from around the world perform every year during the Ravello Musical Festival.
• Drive down the valley to reach Amalfi and visit a limoncello liquor factory.
• Visit Amalfi and explore the ancient Marine Republic, or Republic of the Sea.
• Marvel at the 11th-century Cathedral of Saint Andrew, the patron saint, with its amazing gold and bright decorations. Walk through the labyrinth of tiny alleys, where you can shop for souvenirs or take a bath in the sparkling blue sea.
• After lunch, visit Positano and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of this colourful ancient village. Appreciate the famous exclusive ceramics of the local artisans and enjoy a glass of wine on the beach overlooking the sea.
• Stroll through the streets and stairways of the village.
• Reach Sorrento and visit an olive oil factory, a limoncello liquor factory, and an inlaid woodwork factory.
• Head towards the Pompeii ruins and learn about the ancient drama of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D., which destroyed the town and killed its inhabitants.
• See the casts of a 2,000-year-old Roman town.
• Head back to the pickup location and visit a coral factory for fine jewellery.

Know before you go

• Transportation:

• One of our professional, knowledgeable English-speaking Italian driver guides will be waiting at the pickup location or any other preferred location, usually at 8 a.m. to skip traffic. Your driver will be holding a sign with your or your party's name.
• For groups of more than eight people from Naples, Sorrento, Amalfi, or Salerno, we can provide either a Mercedes Sprinter minibus or multiple luxury minivans, depending on availability. A minivan allows clients to arrive at the exact destination location. With a minibus, you will be dropped farther from the destination and will have to walk to the designated location.
• If the starting point is from the Sorrento area or Salerno area, the itinerary is as follows: Pompeii-Sorrento-Positano-Amalfi-Ravello. Time allocation is the same.
• Please be aware that we reserve the right to change the order of the itinerary if necessary, at our discretion, due to natural causes, environmental conditions, or political reasons such as strikes or protests.
