Day 01

Guaraní Village Experience in Parelheiros and Return to São Paulo

  • 7:30 am - Meet your Brazilian tour guide at Trianon Park, which can also be arranged privately.
  • Travel by car or van for about 1 hour and 30 minutes to the APA Capivari Monos territory in Parelheiros. This experience will partly finance community projects in the Guaraní villages and offers an ancestral connection inside the forest, without having to leave São Paulo or go to Amazonas.
  • Talk to tribal leaders and take a walk through the village.
  • See plantations and gain ancestral knowledge related to agriculture and food.
  • Connect with thematic and sustainability projects, and learn about Guaraní indigenous music and language.
  • Get to know the issues and struggles of the Guaraní people.
  • Taste a dish of indigenous Guaraní cuisine.
  • Admire indigenous art and handicrafts.
  • Feel the energy of the Atlantic Forest and the strength of intimate contact with nature.

  • If you wish, there is a possibility to visit another tribe where you can swim in the river under a waterfall. This tribe is farther away, and there will be a small additional cost because you will spend 1 extra hour on the experience.
  • This experience will partly finance community projects in the Guaraní villages. It offers an ancestral connection inside the forest, without having to leave São Paulo or go to Amazonas.
  • The guide has strong knowledge of Guaraní culture and has had contact with these communities since 2011. He is a licensed and intercultural tour guide, a world citizen born in Italy. He also organizes many other experiences and tours in São Paulo and works for leading tour operators.
  • There are other experiences such as Vila Madalena art and gastronomy, downtown discovery, Bixiga tour, Paulista heart tour, Rain Forest and Waterfall Sampa Day, and Favela Artistic Tour.
  • If you are just 1 person, the experience could be cancelled if no other travelers are found for this tour.
