Temples, Cheow Lan Lake, and a Floating Resort
Get picked up from your hotel by the Thai tour guide and cross the Seresin Bridge into Phang Nga Province, the mainland province adjoining Phuket.
Stop at Wat Suwan Khuha, a cave temple. This immense natural limestone cave was created by nature and exalted by humans. It contains an impressive reclining Buddha, and hundreds of wild monkeys live in the mountains around the cave.
Travel further into the jungle, where the air becomes fresh and the surroundings are filled with greenery.
Visit the visually stunning Wat Bang Riang Temple, high up in the mountains. A true oasis, this peaceful temple is very pleasing to the eye, with a lofty white pagoda outside and colourful rooms inside depicting Buddha's story in art. The views from the pagoda area are breathtaking.
Head to Cheow Lan Lake, where limestone rocks protrude right from the water. Hear the gibbons' songs from the jungle-covered shoreline and enjoy the clear, warm water of the lake.
Journey around the lake on a local longtail boat, take pictures, and absorb the majestic nature.
Go to the luxury floating small resort, Panvaree The Greenery, and enjoy a delicious Thai lunch in this unique location.
After lunch, enjoy leisure time at the floating resort, whether swimming, kayaking around the lake, or simply chilling out.
Stop at the scenic viewpoint of the Ratchaprapha Dam, a multi-purpose dam in Ban Cheow Lan.
Return to Phuket.
