Day 01

Manaus to Paricatuba Jungle Lodge Adventure

You will be picked up by your Brazilian tour guide in Manaus. Cross the Rio Negro by speedboat and arrive at a jungle lodge near the village of Paricatuba by motorized canoe. Explore the Amazon rainforest during the tour.
Paddle a canoe through the small tributaries of the Rio Negro and go piranha fishing.
Set out after dark to see alligators and other nocturnal wildlife in the jungle.
Trek through the forest with a nature guide to learn about medicinal plants and their traditional uses. Learn about traditional farming methods during a visit to the local indigenous Caboclos.
Return to the lodge, have dinner, and stay overnight.
