Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01

Manaus - Lodge

8:30-9:00 Get picked up & depart from Manaus port by speed boat ( approx. 30 min) crossing the Rio Negro to the village of Cacau Pirera.
Travel by car (approx. 50 minutes) to the village of Paricatuba.
Proceed to the Lodge (located approx. 85 km from Manaus) by motorized canoe.
12:00 pm Arrive at the lodge for lunch. After lunch, a Brazilian tour guide will take you on a canoe ride in small creeks for fishing piranhas.
Go on a nocturnal expedition to see alligators and other wildlife that are hidden during the day time.

Enjoy your dinner.

Day 02

Amazon Rainforest

After breakfast, embark on an educational jungle walk for approx. 2.5 hours. During the walk, get to know about how trees and plants are so big & dense here. Also, understand the difference between medicinal plants and the tress of the Amazon rainforest.
Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, paddle canoe ride in small channels (Igarapés) or flooded lands (Igapós), depending upon the season.

Day 03

Camping at the Amazon Jungle

Embark on an early sunrise tour, have breakfast, and visit the homes of local natives. The “Caboclos” maintain a traditional lifestyle and are happy to share their way of living and is proud of it. Also, our Brazilian tour guide will explain to you the local farming techniques.
Proceed to the lodge for lunch and depart for overnight camping in the jungle with a local guide.
Expedition in the Amazon jungle to understand more about extracting everything that we need from the rainforest without destroying it. See some wildlife and listen to the chorus of birds, howler monkeys and other animals at night.

Day 04

Amazon Jungle

Enjoy an extra day to relax and explore through walking nearby places.

Day 05

Lodge - Manaus

Enjoy your breakfast in the jungle, go on a jungle walk and travel back to the lodge.
Have lunch and enjoy free time to swim in the tea-coloured waters of the Rio Negro in the afternoon.
Return to Manaus at around 5:00 pm.
