Fes to Merzouga via Ifrane, Azrou, Midelt and Ziz Valley
Pick up from your hotel in Fez at 8:00 am and depart for the south of Morocco.
Stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco, to enjoy its beauty and take some memorable photos.
After that, head toward Azrou to see the monkeys in the cedar forest.
Continue to Midelt for lunch in a restaurant.
In the afternoon, cross the Tizi N Talghamt pass to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of the Ziz Gorges.
Later, stop for a panoramic view of the Ziz Valley.
Head to the Erg Chebbi dunes, passing by Aoufous and Erfoud, the latter famous for fossils and dates, where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop.
After that, continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, also called the Merzouga Dunes.
On arrival, get ready for a camel trek of an hour and a half to enjoy the sunset.
While on the back of your dromedary, continue to the camp for an overnight stay in a desert camp.
Dinner and overnight in a bivouac in the middle of the dunes with a spectacle of Saharan music.
