Day 01

Cinque Terre Villages and Local Flavours

• Meet at the train station or another location upon request in the La Spezia or Cinque Terre area.

• Depart by train to the first village, Riomaggiore. Enjoy a long and beautiful walk from the train station to the old part of the village, then taste the famous focaccia al limone at a small bakery on the main street.

• Travel to the village of Manarola and have the chance to join a pesto class. The course is followed by a light lunch.

• Continue to the fourth village, Vernazza, where after a guided tour, you will have the chance to taste what is described as the best ice cream in Italy.

• Explore Monterosso, the biggest of all five villages, and enjoy some liquor after a guided tour of the village.

Return to La Spezia by train.

Know before you go

• We will meet at the train station.

• Visit Riomaggiore, Manarola, Vernazza, and Monterosso. In each village, we will have a local produce tasting, except in Manarola, where you can join the pesto class. In case of bad weather, the pesto class cannot run. You will have to pay EUR 50 on site, on the same day, directly to the restaurant manager.

• The suggested transportation is the train, but we can also consider the return trip by boat.

• We can adjust the tour schedule upon request to ensure your maximum comfort.

• Boats run from the end of March to the end of October.

• For groups larger than 3, you will pay only the extra tasting cost of EUR 25 per person.
