The itinerary

Day 01

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive to Mto Wa Mbu

After an early breakfast, travel down an isolated trail into the Ngorongoro Crater.
Spot the "Big Five" - lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard.
Enjoy an extensive game drive.
Have a picnic lunch inside the crater.
Leave the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and travel to Mto Wa Mbu Village.

Day 02

Mto Wa Mbu to Tarangire National Park

Meet the local tour guide and drive to Tarangire National Park.
Marvel at the diversity of landscapes, including grasslands, acacia woodlands, and more.
Leave the park in the late afternoon and travel to a nearby campsite.

Day 03

Lake Manyara Safari to Ngorongoro Highlands

Drive to Lake Manyara National Park after breakfast.
Explore the areas around the lake and spot thousands of birds, including huge flocks of flamingos. The park is famous for tree-climbing lions, and if you are lucky, you can spot them on the branches of acacia trees.
Ascend to the Ngorongoro Highlands after the game drive.
