The itinerary

Day 01

Quito to Rucu Pichincha Trek

Arrive in Quito, meet your tour guide, and travel to the starting point of Rucu Pichincha.
Upon arrival at Rucu Pichincha, attend a tour briefing with your guide and begin the climb.
Enjoy the scenic views during your trek.

(Climb: 4700 masl; 15000 feet approx.)

Overnight stay at a camp.

Day 02

Cotopaxi National Park and Volcano Camp

Have an early morning breakfast at the camp, then travel to Cotopaxi National Park.
Arrive at Cotopaxi National Park, enjoy the beautiful views, and take lots of photographs.
Continue climbing towards the volcano in the evening.
Visit Cotopaxi Volcano, one of the highest active volcanoes in the world.
Set up camp there, have dinner, and spend the night.
