Day 01

Okunoshima Rabbit Island, Okonomiyaki and Calligraphy

• Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location in Hiroshima and begin the tour.

• Take a ferry to Okunoshima Island.

• Meet more than 700 rabbits and feed a few of them with cabbage and carrots.

• See the remains and a museum of the poison gas factory that was here during WWII.

• Walk around the entire Rabbit Island for an hour.

• Visit a traditional Japanese house and cook Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki. You can also create your own original Okonomiyaki by adding extra ingredients such as kimchi, cheese, and green onions.

• Write Kanji with a calligraphy pen on a postcard and take it with you as a keepsake.
