Day 1: From Tangier to Rif Mountain to Chefchaouen
After meeting the team in Tangier (pickup from the point of your choice), start your journey with a visit to the city’s famous Palace (Dar El Mkhzen Kasbah) and its gardens,
Then, proceed to see the typical Moorish architecture in Tetouan Medina; it was and still is considered an International Heritage by UNESCO since 1997.
Experience the delicious Moroccan cuisine during lunch.
Continue on the road to the blue city, Chefchaouen, to explore narrow and intricate streets in the old medina.
Climb the hill to the famous old mosque of the town to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes over the mountains.
Enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of the Rif Mountains.
Dinner on an amazing terrace overlooking the breathtaking medina.
Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Visit Moulay Idriss Village & Drive from Meknes to Fez
Have breakfast at the accommodation.
Depart to visit the holy village of Moulay Idriss, and then enjoy a guided trip to the UNESCO world heritage site of Volubilis to find out more about the Roman ruins.
Continue driving to Meknes, Morocco’s third imperial city. Tour the quiet winding streets of the medina lined with grand buildings and monumental gates; also see the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, a lavish tribute to the sultan who made Meknes his capital in the 17th century.
Then take a walk through the bustling markets in Place Hedim, originally used for royal announcements and public executions.
Dinner and overnight in Fez.

Day 3: Entire Day Exploring Fez
Have breakfast at the accommodation.
Spend the day exploring Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities and the country’s religious and cultural heart.
See the old medina, the largest living Islamic medieval city in the world, before visiting the Kairaouine mosque, and then continue through the Jewish quarter to the Nejjarine Museum of Woods & Crafts and the nearby fountain.
After lunch, visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, an excellent example of Marinid architecture and one of the few religious sites accessible to non-Muslims.
Finish the day tour in the Merenid tombs, formerly a 16th-century palace and necropolis; the ruins offer panoramic views of the city ramparts.
Enjoy your free time and dinner.
Overnight in Fez.

Day 4: Depart from Fes to Merzouga via Atlas Mountains
Have breakfast at the accommodation.
Depart to Midlet town, famous for its fossils and rocks, through the Swiss village Ifrane, Cedar forests, and Middle Atlas Mountains. You will have a lot of breaks to cherish nature, the weather & photograph panoramic views.
Enjoy lunch at a typical restaurant.
Through the Atlas Mountains, continue discovering panoramic views and wide palm oases to reach Erfoud, famous for its natural fossils
In the afternoon, you will reach Merzouga, where you will be welcomed with a mint tea before mounting upon camels and guided by an experienced camel herder to start your safari within the mysterious golden Erg-Chebbi Sahara; discover landscapes in the desert and enjoy the sunset.
Have a wonderful dinner, drums, music and overnight under Berber tents in the heart of Sahara.

Day 5: Departure
Wake up early to reach the highest peak of the dunes and watch the sun rise over the spectacular Merzouga dunes. This is an experience that should not be missed.
Afterwards, have breakfast with the Tuaregs and head onward to the end of your tour. (Fez/Marrakech).
