The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Amman and Hotel Transfer

Upon arrival at Queen Alia Airport, our representative will meet you at the exit gate.
Transfer to Amman, the capital of the country, in about 50 minutes. The city stretches over 19 hills.
Enjoy a short drive around the city to get an impression of this modern capital before your escort takes you to the hotel.
Check in and spend the remainder of the day at leisure on your own.

Day 02

Petra Excursion from Amman

At 07:30 am, get picked up from the hotel lobby and drive for 2.5 hours via the Desert Highway to the rock city of Petra, Jordan's main attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Petra was established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe that settled in the area. With a sophisticated water supply and distribution system, the city prospered, and the Nabataeans founded a commercial empire that extended into Syria and controlled the main caravan routes of the time.
Meet your private guide at the Visitors Centre and start the tour on horseback or on foot to the Siq, the narrow canyon with some votive niches.
At the end of this gorge, you will see Petra's most beautiful monument, the Treasury, also known as Al Khazneh.
Continue along the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and Pharaoh's Castle.
Enjoy some free time on your own before returning in the afternoon to your Amman hotel for the night.

Day 03

Departure from Amman

Have breakfast and check out by 12:00 noon at the latest.
Transfer to Amman Airport to say farewell and board your flight.
