Day 01

Greve in Chianti Winery Visit and Montefioralle Exploration

11 AM: Pick-up from your accommodation in Florence in a minivan with air conditioning and wi-fi service on board. Transfer to Greve in Chianti, the very heart of Chianti wine production.
Head to a family-run winery. First, the owners will take you on a tour of their cellars, where you will taste three different wines. Choose one to enjoy by the glass with lunch. The owners will also share information about their saffron production. Saffron is considered the "culinary gold" spice here in Tuscany.
Enjoy a special lunch made of typical Tuscan cured meats (affettati), cheese, and the glass of wine you previously chose. Top it off with a glass of dessert wine and some saffron cantuccini (cookies).
Take some time to relax before driving to Montefioralle, one of the most charming Italian villages. Spend two hours touring this lovely place and shopping around its charming markets.
5 PM: Drive back to Florence.
