Accademia, Duomo Complex and Piazza della Signoria
Start your walking tour with a visit to the Accademia Gallery, the museum that houses the world's most famous sculpture: Michelangelo's David, along with other precious works such as the statue of St. Matthew and the Prisoners/Slaves - a marble group planned for the tomb of Pope Julius II in Rome.
