Itinerary

1. Day 1: Manaus - Rio Preto da Eva

   • Pick up from hotel at 07.00 am, go to see the meeting of the two rivers, and continue travelling for about 3 hours to a small city Rio Preto da Eva with about 40,000 inhabitants.

   • Arrive and see the typical natives market with some fruits.

   • After, continue in the car to a place where you will, take a small motorized boat, navigating down the creek Rio Preto, with a wonderful view, maybe by chance, you will see some Toucans and Sloths. The trip takes about 40 minutes.

   • Reach your destination ( a small and simple lodge); this is the place where you will have lunch. 

   • At 15.00 pm, take your belongings.

   • Before leaving, your Amazon tour guide will give instructions while you walk through the forest.

   • Then, you are off on your Jungle survival adventure, where evening gets you; this is where you will have your first experience making fire, preparing food, camp, and tying your hammocks. 

2. Day 2: In the first camp.

   • Wake up at 07.00 am, prepare breakfast.

   • Then, you will leave your belongings at the camp as you and your guides go on a hike to observe animals, birds and find food.

   • Come back to your camp to prepare lunch.

   • Take all belongings, leave the camp and continue to the waterfall; there, you will make up your second camp, swim in the waterfall and prepare dinner. 

   • The guide will tell you stories, what happend in real life in the Amazon.

3. Day 3: Jungle Walk

   • Wake up to prepare your breakfast. 

   • Then, swim in the waterfall before leaving the camp. 

   • Continue the Jungle walk back to the small simple lodge; on the way, your guides will show plants and trees (herbs) used as medicines and how to climb trees to get fruits by using palm leaves or bark from a tree to make ropes.

   • Arrive at the lodge for lunch.

   • At about 13.00 pm, you will again, leave the lodge going in the motorized boat, navigating down the Rio Preto river to place, where you will fish the piranhas, see the sunset, when the dankness come, you will make your camp and fire to prepare dinner. After dinner, you will again go in the motorized boat, to spot caimans (alligators), if you are very lucky, you will see your guide catch one,and you can make photos, then put it free back to the nature.

   • Overnight.

4. Day 4: Sleeping one night in the lodge.

   • Prepare breakfast at 07.00 am. 

   • Leave the camp, going back to the lodge

   • Arriving for lunch.

   • Afternoon program. Go with your guides in small wooden canoes, to explore the flooded forest, observe some birds and animals.

   • Back to lodge for dinner.
   • After dinner, you and your guides will go in the boat to see and learn how the natives use spear for fishing in the darkness, by using a flash light. You will also participate in the action.

5. Day 5: Walk in the jungle in different place.

   • Wake up at 05:30 a.m. go in the motorized boat, on a morning tour, to see the sunrise( if the weather is good), also see some birds.

   • Back for breakfast .

   • At 08.00 am, leave the lodge, go with your guides, on the second jungle walk. ( if it is in summer, you will have chance to refreshing in a second waterfall. Back to lodge for lunch.

   • At 14.00 PM, leave the lodge, going back to Manaus or direct to airport.
