Day 01

Manaus to Rio Preto da Eva and Jungle Survival Camp

  • Pick up from your hotel at 07.00 am, visit the Meeting of the Waters, and continue travelling for about 3 hours to the small city of Rio Preto da Eva, which has about 40,000 inhabitants.

  • Arrive and visit the typical native market, where you will see local fruits.

  • After that, continue by car to the place where you will take a small motorized boat and navigate down the Rio Preto creek. Enjoy the wonderful views and, with some luck, you may see toucans and sloths. The boat trip takes about 40 minutes.

  • Reach your destination, a small and simple lodge, where you will have lunch.

  • At 15.00 pm, take your belongings.

  • Before leaving, your Amazon tour guide will give you instructions for walking through the forest.

  • Then, set off on your jungle survival adventure. When evening comes, you will have your first experience making fire, preparing food, setting up camp, and tying your hammocks.

Day 02

Wildlife Hike and Waterfall Camp

  • Wake up at 07.00 am and prepare breakfast.

  • Then, leave your belongings at the camp while you and your guides go on a hike to observe animals and birds and look for food.

Day 03

Medicinal Plants, Piranha Fishing, and Caiman Spotting

  • Arrive at the lodge for lunch.

  • At about 13.00 pm, leave the lodge again and go by motorized boat, navigating down the Rio Preto River to the place where you will fish for piranhas and watch the sunset.
