Weather permitting, you can hike to the viewpoint "Marienbrücke" where you can take incredible and breathtaking pictures of Neuschwanstein Castle.
You can also visit Hohenschwangau Castle from the outside or, weather permitting, take a walk along the Alpsee lake.
If the weather is cold, you can also visit the Museum of the Bavarian Kings at your own expense.
