Day 01

Explore the Ancient Ruins of Pompeii

Pick-up from your accommodation.
Your guided tour starts at Pompeii, an ancient city that you can explore while feeling as if you are 2,000 years in the past.
Visit Pompeii's highlights, including Marina Gate, the Basilica (courthouse), the Forum (the main square), the municipal buildings (curia), the meat and fish market (Macellum), thermal baths, Termopolium Capuano, the House of the Tragic Poet, a bakery, plaster casts, the Temples of Jupiter, Apollo, and Venere, the Lupanar (brothel), fountains, and lead pipes.
Enjoy a lunch break in a typical Italian restaurant, where you can taste good wine and traditional dishes.

Day 02

Climb Mount Vesuvius and Admire the Bay of Naples

Travel to Mount Vesuvius, where a local guide, included in the ticket cost, will accompany you to the top of the volcano and its crater rim, which still emits slight fumes today.
From here, enjoy a stunning panorama over the Bay of Naples, Capri, Ischia, and the edge of the Sorrento coast. Everyone must walk uphill for the last 500 metres, so closed-in shoes are essential.
You will also enjoy a stunning view of the Bay of Naples from a vantage point that almost nobody else can access.
