Ouzoud waterfalls are the highest waterfalls in northern Africa. Its location that is not too far from the imperial City of Marrakech to the northeast makes it one of the most visited places in the region.
Departure from the hotel at 8:00 am. We will drive passing by many olive groves to get to the Natural bridge of Imi Nifri in Demnat for a pause. This Bridge offers an outline of the African continent when you see it from the bottom. You will have the opportunity to take pictures and try some mint tea before we continue our journey to the falls.
A short drive from the bridge to get to the majestic waterfalls of Ouzoud (act of grinding the grains), these fabulous falls plunge 360ft (110m) to the ground and make a spectacular scenery with a permanent rain bow. From the top you can take excellent shots of the falls and the surrounding area.
After an optional lunch in one of the local restaurants in front of the falls, you can choose to relax by the falls drinking mint tea or you go for short walk to explore the Area more. As you walk up to get to the car you might catch a glimpse of the Barbary Apes jumping between the trees going down to drink from the river.
