Itinerary

1. Day 1: Casablanca to Rabat & Fes

   • Get picked up from your hotel and explore the main sights in the largest city of Morocco.

   • Visit the Hassan II Mosque, Atlantic coast area and others.

   • Drive to Rabat, the capital where you visit the "Royal Palace", the ruins of "Chellah", and the "Mohammed V Mausoleum".

   • After lunch, finish the tour of the "Hassan Tower". 

   • Move on to Meknes for a guided tour which includes "Bab El Mansour".

   • Also, explore the Jewish quarter, the "Royal Granaries" and Meknes city rampart.

   • Enjoy a guided tour of the Roman ruins of Volubilis.

   • Reach Fes where you stay in a local riad for dinner and breakfast.

2. Day 2: Fes Tour

   • Visit the tannery, where you can observe fabric leather.

   • Also, visit the ceramics cooperative to see the traditional Moroccan crafts. 

   • Enjoy some free time in the afternoon.

   Overnight in a local hotel with dinner.

3. Day 3: Fes to Ifrane to Midelt to Erfoud to Merzouga

   • Visit Ifrane in the Middle Atlas mountains.

   • Watch some local monkeys in the cedar forests in Azrou.

   • Pass the Ziz valley to reach Erfoud, a town known for fossil products. 

   • Drive to Rissani and then to Merzouga desert and prepare for camel ride in dunes to reach Merzouga desert camp. 

   • Climb a higher dune to watch the sunset in the desert of Merzouga. 

   Stay overnight in desert tents and end the day with a traditional Moroccan dinner.

4. Day 4: Merzouga to Todra Gorges to Dades Valley

   • After watching a Sahara desert sunrise in Merzouga, ride on a camel back to the village for breakfast, followed by driving towards Tinghir, passing Jorf. 

   • Explore Todra Gorge, the highest gorge in the country and a very popular spot for rock climbers. 

   • After lunch, explore the beauty of Dades valley and stop for few pictures at rock formations called “Monkey Toes”. 

   Dinner and overnight stay in Dades valley local hotel.

5. Day 5: Dades Gorges to Ouarzazate to Marrakech

   • Continue towards the “Valley of Roses” 
   • Stop in Ouarzazate, also called “the Hollywood of Africa”, where you enjoy a visit to a movie studio. 
   • Explore the Atlas mountains in a guided tour of the Kasbah in Ait Benhaddou. It is the largest Kasbah in Morocco, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 
   • Drive over the High Atlas mountains to reach Marrakech.

   End of tour.
