Day 01

Casablanca, Rabat and Transfer to Chefchaouen

  • Meet your tour guide and begin your journey from Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco. It is considered the economic and business center of the country and is home to Hassan II Mosque, one of Morocco's most iconic landmarks.
  • Head to Hassan II Mosque.
  • Continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, to see its monuments, then drive north to the blue city of Chefchaouen.

Have dinner and overnight in a hotel/riad.

Day 02

Explore the Blue City of Chefchaouen

  • Explore the blue city of Chefchaouen as you wander through its attractive alleyways and buildings painted in blue.

Day 03

Volubilis and Meknes Heritage Tour

  • Head to Meknes through Ouezzane. On the way, visit the ancient city of Volubilis and its well-preserved Roman Empire ruins, including beautiful mosaics. The site is considered a true piece of art.
  • Reach Meknes, the Ismaili capital of Morocco, famous for its magnificent Mansour Gate, or "Bab Mansour," built by Sultan Ismail. In front of the gate lies El Hedim Square.
  • Visit the granary, Sahrij Souani, which was used for irrigation and plantation, Kara, the underground prison, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.

Day 04

Discover the Ancient Attractions of Fes

  • Have breakfast at your hotel and start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, Fes. Fes is rich in culture, traditions, and gastronomy, and is referred to in Morocco as the country's cultural capital. This tour will let you walk through its oldest medieval Medina, alleys, and small streets.
  • Visit the Royal Palace Gate, the Blue Gate, and the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco during the 14th century. You will enjoy some of the best sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the world, the Tanneries, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum.
  • Stop for lunch, head to the tiles cooperative, and then enjoy a fantastic panoramic view over the Medina of Fes.

Day 05

Middle Atlas Journey to Merzouga Desert

  • Have breakfast and leave Fez. Head south, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains and enjoying their breathtaking landscapes.
  • Stop at Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco.
  • See the cedar forest in Azrou, where you will meet the Barbary apes.
  • Drive along Ziz Valley and the palm groves of Tafilalet, passing through a few Berber villages to reach the Merzouga Desert. There, you will switch to camels and cross the dunes to the heart of the desert.
  • On the way, a stop will be made to witness the beautiful sunset. At the campsite, you will enjoy drum music, a Moroccan dinner, the vast open sky filled with shining stars, and sleep in a nomadic Berber tent.

Day 06

Rissani, Todra Gorges and Dades Valley

  • Wake up early to witness the beautiful sunrise, then return to Merzouga by camel. Have breakfast and shower at the hotel.
  • Head to Rissani to visit its traditional souk, considered one of the largest in southern Morocco.
  • Start your journey to Tinghir, stopping on the way to see the ancient underground irrigation system used by the locals.
  • Visit Todra Gorges and stroll through its magnificent canyon. Have lunch in a restaurant overlooking the valley.
  • Return to Tinghir to join the main road to Boumalne Dades, where you will visit Dades Valley.

Day 07

Aït Benhaddou and High Atlas Crossing to Marrakech

  • Enjoy your breakfast and depart for Kalaa Magouna, famous for its Rose Valley and rose products. Every year, a rose festival is held there in May. Then visit Amridil Kasbah in Skoura.
  • Arrive in Ouarzazate and take a look at the studios.
  • Visit the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, once a rest point for caravans and now the setting for many international films. Have lunch in a restaurant overlooking the Kasbah.
  • Cross the High Atlas Mountains.
  • Explore the process of making Argan oil and enjoy the scenery while driving through the Tizi n'Tichka Pass.
  • Return to Marrakech.
