Qingchengshan Temples Hike from Chengdu

• Start with a 1.5-hour ride by public or private transfer from your hotel in Chengdu to the base of Qingchengshan.

• Buy your tickets and begin your walking tour.

• Visit the temples along the way. Sit down and enjoy a peaceful, quiet moment with the monks in the temple.

• After around 3-4 hours of walking, reach the top, where you will see a big pagoda.

• Walk down the mountain and use the cable car.

• Drive back to Chengdu.

Know before you go

• If you are a group of more than 4 people, the price will be lower.
• This place is a four-season park.
• Try to avoid the peak travel seasons in China, which are the first weeks of May and October.
• We can skip the touristy temples at the base when there are lots of visitors.
• The walk at the beginning may not be comfortable, as there are many steps. However, once you get used to them, it is not so hard.
