Experience one of Rio de Janeiro’s most iconic nights at the Carnival parade in the Sambadrome. Watch the Special Group Samba Schools take the stage in elaborate, high-energy performances as they compete for top honors in front of thousands of spectators.

Your ticket is valid for one night only and includes round-trip transfer, making it easier to enjoy the celebration from evening into the early hours of the next morning. Friday and Saturday feature the opening groups, while Sunday and Monday are dedicated to the Special Group performances.

The itinerary

Day 01

Sambodromo

The Sambadrome is the heart and soul of the Carnival in Rio. It is place we go to see the Samba Schools competing against each other in a 75-minute performance. Each Samba School has an average of 350 musicians and over 3000 members ready to perform in front of thousands of people in the Sambadrome. There are 13 Samba Schools and half of them perform on Sunday night and the other half on Monday night.

The six winners get to perform one last time the following Saturday night.
