Day 01

Journey to the Amazon Jungle Lodge

  • Drive to Ceasa Port and board a boat to see the "Meeting of the Waters" - the two rivers which do not mix. After a brief explanation of this phenomenon, continue to the jungle lodge.
  • In the afternoon, begin your Amazon tour with a boat ride across the wide Amazon landscape. You may spot various animals, such as sloths, monkeys, birds, and dolphins, as well as plants of the Amazon. You can also swim in the river if you wish, but only in recommended spots. We can also stop at a local jungle bar if you would like.
  • In the evening, you can join an optional caiman-spotting excursion, going out by boat under the starlit sky to observe the nightlife of the jungle.

Day 02

Jungle Hike and Piranha Fishing

  • Set out on a jungle hike and learn about jungle survival techniques, including how to find edible items in the jungle, make animal traps, and identify plants used for medicinal purposes. It is recommended to avoid dark clothing, as it attracts mosquitoes, and to use insect repellent.
  • In the jungle, we will make a fire to roast fish that we catch for dinner around the fire, along with jungle Caipirinha.
  • In the afternoon, take a boat trip for piranha fishing, and you can have your catch for lunch on the following day.

Day 03

Visit a Local Family and Sleep in the Jungle

  • Visit a local family to learn about the lives of local people in the Amazon and buy locally made souvenirs. You will see the process of making Farinha, and you can also try typical Amazonian fruits such as cupuaçu, acai, and tapereba from their own plantation. Spend another night in the jungle in a shelter.
  • In the afternoon, head deeper into the jungle to make a fire and roast chicken, fish, or eggs for dinner, then sleep in hammocks.

Day 04

Rubber Traditions and Flooded Forest Canoeing

  • Return to the lodge after an early tour and learn about the process of making rubber, which was responsible for Manaus' initial fame in the early 20th century.
  • In the afternoon, we can go canoe paddling through the flooded jungle, and you can try spear-fishing by boat.

Day 05

Choose Your Final Activity and Return to Manaus
