Santa Croce and Michelangelo in Florence

• Meet your Italian tour guide in front of the Statue of Dante in Piazza Santa Croce, Florence.

• Visit the Basilica of Santa Croce, the largest Franciscan church in the world, located in Piazza Santa Croce in Florence. It was built by Arnolfo di Cambio on the site of an existing church. Here, you will find the Bardi and Peruzzi Chapels with frescoes by the important Florentine artist Giotto, as well as the Sacristy and the Pazzi Chapel by Filippo Brunelleschi.

• Continue to the museum, the house of Michelangelo Buonarroti. Here, you can see famous works such as "Madonna of the Steps" and "Battle of the Centaurs" by the young Michelangelo, revealing his love for Greek and Roman art.
